DRIVERS LICENSE REINSTATEMENT
We sometimes forget how crucial our ability to drive impacts our lives. Our lives can be seriously impacted by not being able to get to work, take our children to school, get ourselves or our loved ones to medical appointments.
‘Reinstatement‘ of driving privileges means getting your full driving privileges back. But whether you personally qualify for full driving privileges depends on many factors, and sometimes involves the Secretary of State placing you on a Restricted Driving Permit (“RDP”).
Also, if you live outside of Illinois, in another state, you may find that in order to gain driving privileges in that other state you must first clear your driving record in Illinois. This process is very similar to Reinstatement, but is often referred to as gaining ‘Clearance‘.
Attorney Michael Ladak not only presided over and been a representative at thousands of hearings involving driving privileges, but he knows the ins and outs of how the Secretary of State grants and denies drivers licenses.
